Sailing since 1970, Vladimir has explored virtually every major body of water around the world and participated in the prestigious Whitbread Round the World Race (now known as The Ocean Race).

He is a Master of Sports and spent five years coaching junior sailing teams. Over the years, he has lived in North and South America, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Turkey, and several other countries. For the past 15 years, he has been based in Marmaris, Turkey.
